SK Lesions

What are SK Lesions?

SK stands for seborrheic keratosis. SK lesions are a type of skin growth that is commonly found on the face, chest, and back. They are benign and usually appear as raised, waxy or scaly lesions that are tan, brown, or black in color. They may be smooth or rough, and they can vary in size and shape.

SK lesions are common, and they tend to occur more frequently with age. They are not typically harmful or painful, but they may be a cosmetic concern for some people.

Are SK Lesions Contagious?

No, SK lesions are not contagious and they do not spread. They will typically grow slowly and develop their texture over time.
